Every day gets better and better at Amplify! Students' lives are changing every minute of camp. The morning started off with Dylan Holly, JC Student Coordinator, speaking about the concept of presence. He said, “Worship and worry can’t come out of your mouth at the same time!” Afterward, the students had a quick snack and met with their small groups to discuss what they had learned.

After lunch, the students got to hear Marion Student Coordinator, Anna Morrell, speak about the concept of pain. She focused on Romans 8:18 “ For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." Out of the message, the takeaway Jesus is a story of love and pain. It’s not always pretty, but Jesus covers you.

After the session, the students got to have some fun out in the sun! The students were able to enjoy outdoor activities, such as a color-war, a two-hundred-foot slip and slide, and games.

The students celebrated 80's Night, the best-dressed won a prize! After worship, Mark Estepp talked about the concept of passion and religion. He said, “The reason why nobody like religious people is because they are principled but not passionate.” The message was inspiring to the students because there were several more spontaneous baptisms! After, the students went to the gymnasium to play an intense game of Forte Night! The night ended with an awesome rave!
