WHAT IS THIS LIGHT THAT SHINES AT CHRISTMAS?

IT’S THE PRESENCE OF JESUS

EMMANUEL – GOD WITH US!

And while (Joseph and Mary) were in (Bethlehem), the time came for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.

Luke 2:6 - 7

And so Jesus was born, the one called ‘Immanuel,” which means, “God with us”.    Matthew 1:23

STRESSED OUT FINANCIALLY

STRESSED OUT PHYSICALLY

STRESSED OUT RELATIONALLY

WHAT’S THE USE?

DOES ANYBODY REALLY CARE?

GOD CARES!

WHERE DO YOU TURN IF YOU FIND YOURSELF IN THE DARK?

HOW CAN JESUS DISPEL MY DARKNESS THROUGH HIS PRESENCE?

HE WILL ENCOURAGE ME WHEN I’M DISAPPOINTED.

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed.     Psalm 34:18

The message of Christmas - HIS PRESENCE IS HERE

“For I know the plans I have for you”, says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”     Jeremiah 29:11

HE WILL STRENGTHEN ME WHEN I’M STRESSED.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.    Phillipians 4:13

HE WILL GUIDE ME WHEN I’M DOUBTFUL

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”     John 8:12

“Well, I’m just going to do whatever I feel is right.”

“Well, I did it because everybody else was doing it.”

Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a Light to My Path.

Psalm 119:105

HIS PRESENCE CAN CHANGE ME.

THAT LIGHT IS THE PRESENCE OF JESUS.

Jesus lived the truth of this commandment, and you also are living it. For the darkness is disappearing, and the true light is already shining.    1 John 2:8
