Experiencing Life with Jesus: Total Dependence
· We exist to help people experience life with Jesus.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” (NIV)
John 5:19: “The Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing.” (NIV)
Mark 1:35 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. (NIV)
TWO QUESTIONS ABOUT EXPERIENCING LIFE WITH JESUS:
1. What is getting in the way of your total dependence on God?
· What you prioritize reveals what you truly value.
2. Are you spiritually prepared for the purpose God has for you?
WHAT WE NEED TO DO:
1. Get away from the crowd.
Psalm 46:10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” (NIV)
2 Corinthians 12:9 “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. (NIV)
2. Find your rest in Him.
Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (NIV)
· Total dependence means trusting God with your whole heart.
