HOW DO I GET GOD’S DREAM FOR MY LIFE?

No matter where I travel in the world, I have yet to find a person who didn’t have a dream.

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life.     

Proverbs 13:12

Your dream determines your destiny

“Why am I here?” 

“Why do I get up in the morning?”

“Why do I go to work?” 

“What’s the Purpose of life?”

For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans to prosper you, not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.  

Jeremiah 29:11

HOW DO I GET GOD’S DREAM FOR MY LIFE?

D – DECIDE TO PURSUE IT.

Nehemiah did this, didn’t he: 

So the king asked me, “Why does your face look so sad when you are not ill? This can be nothing but sadness of heart.

I was very much afraid, but I said to the king, “May the king live forever! Why should my face not look sad when the city where my ancestors are buried lies in ruins, and its gates have been destroyed by fire?”

The king said to me, “What is it you want?”

Then I prayed to the God of heaven, and I answered the king, “If it pleases the king and if your servant has found favor in his sight, let him send me to the city in Judah where my ancestors are buried so that I can rebuild it.”

… And because the gracious hand of my God was on me, the king granted my requests.    Nehemiah 2:2 - 5, 8b

R – RELINQUISH YOUR COMFORT ZONE.

Because Our Big Dream Always Lies OUTSIDE Our Comfort Zone.

E – EXPECT OPPOSITION

A – ASSOCIATE WITH GODLY DREAMERS
