Kingdom

KINGDOM 

So the Lord gave to Israel all the land he had sworn to give their ancestors, and they took possession of it and settled there. And the Lord gave them rest on every side, just as he had solemnly promised their ancestors. None of their enemies could stand against them, for the Lord helped them conquer all their enemies. Not a single one of all the good promises the Lord had given to the family of Israel was left unfulfilled; everything he had spoken came true.

THE RISE AND FALL OF EARTHLY KINGS 

“Your house and your kingdom will endure forever before me; your throne will be established forever.”   2 Samuel 7:16 (NIV)

THE PROMISE OF A GREATER KING 

Not a single one of all the good promises the Lord had given to the family of Israel was left unfulfilled; everything he had spoken came true. 

Joshua 21:45 (NLT) 

For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. His government and its peace will never end. He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity.    Isaiah 9:6 - 7a (NLT)
