Abingdon HFS: Valentine's Through Generations

Our students are partnering with English Meadows for a special outreach that bridges generations and shares the love of Jesus in a meaningful way. After the 11AM service, students will head to English Meadows for lunch (students should bring money for McDonald’s), and then we’ll hand-deliver Valentine gifts and handwritten letters to senior residents. We’ll spend time building relationships through conversation, encouragement, and simply being present.

🚌 Transportation is provided.

In the Sundays leading up to the event, students will prepare gifts and write letters during regular student ministry programming—so they can intentionally invest in the outreach before we ever arrive.

This is a powerful opportunity for students to learn the importance of honoring others, showing Christ-like love, and building meaningful connections through acts of service.
