Hi there! We're so glad you've found your way here. God has something special planned for you this Christmas season. We hope you'll spend it with us at Highlands as we reflect on the hope, love, joy and peace that Jesus brought to earth on that silent night. 

There's something special for the whole family during the whole month of December. Whether you prefer to gather in person, watch online or on TV, Highlands is "home" and you're always welcome here! We're here for you and would love to get to know you, pray for you and answer any questions you may have. It's our mission to help people experience life with Jesus. Connect with us!

HFKidz (6-weeks – 5th Grade) is a fun and safe gathering for kids that consists of games, music, age-appropriate messages about Jesus and more! If you have kids, plan their visit and have them join the fun in HFKidz at one of our four HF locations!

Candlelight Gathering

This family-friendly gathering will feature incredible worship music, a special message from Pastor Tim Brown, and a moment to light candles as we celebrate Jesus. This Christmas weekend will be one to remember, so make plans to join us! Childcare will be provided for ages 5 + under. Elementary children in the main auditorium will be invited to come on stage + sing.

Candlelight Gatherings


You're invited to join us for our annual candlelight gatherings on Tuesday, Dec. 23rd!

The Candlelight Gathering is a great way to focus our minds and hearts on the true reason for the Christmas season – the coming of Jesus, the light of the world.

This family-friendly gathering will feature incredible worship music, a special message from Pastor Tim Brown, and a moment to light candles as we celebrate Jesus. This Christmas weekend will be one to remember, so make plans to join us!

Abingdon, VA: Tuesday, Dec. 23rd at 6pm & 7:30pm - ASL Interpreter at 6pm.
Bluefield, VA: Tuesday, Dec. 23rd at 6pm
Bristol, VA: Tuesday, Dec. 23rd at 6pm & 7:30pm
Marion, VA: Tuesday, Dec. 23rd at 6pm & 7:30pm
