FAQ's

Yes. Each classroom has been measured to meet State social distancing guidelines. Based on these criteria, each room has a limited number of children allowed.
In order to ensure we are meeting guidelines for social distancing for our children and volunteers, pre-registration is necessary. Once we reach capacity, registration will be closed.
Yes. We monitor the temperature of all volunteers and kidz. Once your child is checked-in for service, their printed nametag indicates their temperature was checked.
As you are aware, Government and health officials recommend and strongly encourage that we wear face coverings. All staff and volunteers will be required to wear a mask.
We are cleaning all hard surfaces and large toys before and after every service. Each room will be sanitized prior to opening. Every surface in the room will be cleaned and all the toys and games the kidz could be in contact with will be sanitized. Rooms will have minimal toys available. In addition to cleaning the room prior to the opening of the service, we will continue our sanitation standards throughout the service and beyond.  The children’s areas and toys will be disinfected after each service by the HFKidz staff member and team members.
We recognize that social distancing is challenging for children, especially our younger kidz. We have trained our volunteers that we are a “Low Touch – High Sanitization Experience” and continually communicate this to everyone in our children’s spaces. Specific sanitation protocols are in place and we have made adjustments in our curriculum to minimize passing items within the classroom, high-fives are now ‘air fives’, etc. In addition to our sanitization protocols, hand-sanitizing stations are available in the classrooms.
We are diligently preparing for your baby and toddler’s care. We do ask that parents leave items brought from home, including diaper bags and carriers, outside the nursery. Cubbies are outside the room and we encourage parents to drop off their things there. Should your child need a bottle while in our care, our trained volunteers will get it from the cubbie area and use it immediately for your child.
