Celebrate Recovery (CR)
Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a 12-step Christ-centered recovery program that combines the practical steps of AA with the teachings of Jesus Christ to redeem and heal. CR offers a person the opportunity to participate in a group where love and hope combine with God’s purpose to mend our lives. It addresses all types of hurts, habits, and hang-ups (examples = depression, fear of rejection or abandonment, pornography, dependency on alcohol or drugs, control issues, or abuse mentally, physically or emotionally. Along with worship music and a recovery lesson/testimony, there are many opportunities to serve within Celebrate Recovery. For those with a smile and open friendliness, we’re looking for Greeters and Parkers. There’s food/snacks to prepare weekly (shopping, preparing and serving). Come early to help set-up and stay late to tear-down. Seeking recovery and serving each other allows us to draw closer to Jesus, our ultimate Healer.
