Helping Southwest Virginia Rebuild After Helene
Trails to Recovery is dedicated to supporting the people of Southwest Virginia after the devastation caused
by Hurricane Helene. The storm severely impacted hundreds of residents in Alvarado, Damascus, Green Cove, Konnarock,
Taylors Valley, and Whitetop, leaving homes, businesses, and key economic drivers in ruins. The total cost of
rebuilding these communities is expected to reach millions of dollars.
Our Focus
100% of your donation will go directly to the following rebuilding efforts:

Residential Restoration: Helping families rebuild and restore their homes to
ensure safe, stable housing.

Business Recovery: Supporting local businesses that are essential to the
region’s economy, providing jobs and services.

Virginia Creeper Trail Revitalization: Restoring this beloved trail, a major
source of tourism and economic activity for the area.
Together, we can bring healing, hope, and love to the people and places most affected by this disaster.

In addition to monetary donations, we are in need of building materials. You can donate these materials at Berry Home Centers. Visit their website for locations and hours of operation.
Volunteer Opportunities:
If you'd like to volunteer, sign up today to join us in the recovery efforts. Every hand helps in rebuilding these communities! We are partnering with the Impact Missions Movement of the BGAV.
