Awesome Marriage Scripture Challenge - Day 1

Day 1 - Your Marriage Verse

Each of you do some research today to find a verse in scripture that you want to be your marriage verse. Meaning, a verse you plan to live by in your marriage or what you want your marriage to be like. Many people choose a life verse that they want to be their legacy. Similarly, you can choose a life verse for your marriage legacy. 

Pro tip: google things like “good verse for married couples” “couple's life bible verse” and “bible verse to live by as a married couple.” Once you each have a few ideas, come together to talk about it and pray over which verse should be your verse. 

You are also welcome to steal my marriage’s verse! Dylan and I decided when we were just dating that Romans 1:12 would be our verse, “that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith.” It’s simple and expresses the foundation of what we want our relationship to be: pointing each other to Jesus and our faith. We always want to encourage each other’s faith and want our personal relationships with Jesus to be mutually encouraging. 

Once you pick a verse, write it down and leave it on your bathroom mirror.
